We were invited by Design911 to film a podcast episode at Hexagon Classics during Porsche in the Park – Robbie’s annual event at Beechwood Park that pulls together some of the best Porsches and people in the community for a full day of cars, culture, and conversation. As a backdrop for a podcast, it’s hard to beat.

The guest list made it even better. Race & Taylor – the automotive lifestyle brand behind some seriously considered apparel and speciality coffee – joined alongside Jas from Minnessak, a London-based brand that takes existing materials and transforms them into handcrafted bags built to last. Two brands that sit in completely different worlds, but both built around the same kind of ethos: make things properly, make them mean something.

The Setup
Hexagon Classics gave us a lot to work with. The space has real character – the kind you can’t manufacture – and our job was to capture the conversation without letting the surroundings swallow it. We kept the setup clean and focused, letting the cars do what they do best in the background while keeping the audio and eyeline tight on the guests.
Porsche in the Park as context added to the energy. There’s always a different atmosphere when the event is on – people are engaged, the cars are out, and that enthusiasm filters through even into a studio-style podcast recording.
What We Captured
The format gave the guests room to breathe. Race & Taylor talked about the market, the cars they work with, and what serious Porsche ownership actually looks like. Jas brought a completely different angle – the story behind Minnessak, why making things from reclaimed materials matters, and what it takes to build a product brand that stands for something.
Between those two threads, the conversation had real range. Design911’s audience is passionate and knowledgeable, and this kind of content – filmed properly, not just a phone on a tripod – gives them something worth watching more than once.

Why It Worked
Production-wise, this is the kind of work Bear exists to do. Not just showing up with a camera, but understanding what the client actually needs from the footage – social cuts, a long-form episode, thumbnails, the lot. We came away with everything Design911 needed to push this across their channels.
